Based on the genre of Shootout At Lokhandwala, Director Apoorva Lakhia has announced his next project starring Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan. The film will be based on Khalistan movement in Punjab and will be made through extensive research. Sanjay Dutt would play a real life cop and Amitabh too will play a cop as sharp shooter. The movie will produced by Shree Asthavinayak.

The movie will based will based on how cops fought the extremism in Punjab, we will have to wait and see how the sikh community reacts to the content of this film.
