So guys the trend continues, another Aamir Khan and a controversy creeping up with it. Well all of you by now, must be aware of this controversy. The writer, Chetan Bhagat is furious over the makers of 3 Idiots for not giving him the credit for the story.

Now first of all, I want to say that Chetan Bhagat has targeted the makers of 3 Idiots specifically Vidhu Vinod Chopra & Rajkumar Hirani, so why Aamir Khan is fronting himself on this. Now here are some of the things which I thought are similar between 3 Idiots and the novel ‘Five Point Someone’ :-

• Meeting place of Ryan, Hari and Alok is the tallest building on the campus tank in the movie.
• Definition of "Machine".
• Alok(Raju)  from lower class family w/ dowry problem for sister.
• Alok’s (Raju) mom complaining, Alok leaves dish fuming and Hari finding Matar-Paneer more interesting is from book word to word.
• Ryan (Rancho’s) of fun-loving nature.
• Hari (Farhan)  being the narrator of the story.
• Alok moving with Venkat(Chatur.
• Ryan saving Alok’s father.
• Trip to Neha’s (Pia) house
      a. Hari taking out air from tyres.
      b. Confessing love to Neha.
• Hari, Ryan and Alok travelling on scooter.
• College being of Engineering discipline and based in Delhi.
• Stealing paper from Cherian’s(Shastrabudhu what ever the name was, ) office, and getting caught.
• Alok attempting suicide after that.
• Ryan was interested in machines(and so is Rancho in the movie).
• Neha’s brother committing a suicide by the railway tracks.
• Cherian hates Ryan,Alok & Hari.(and so does Shastrabudhi in the movie)
• The dialogue TERA HONE WALA DAMAAD.
• Alok’s mother hasn’t bought a new saree in the past 5 years.

But if he is not doing it for publicity then why is he not going to the court and instead giving interviews, participating in those talk shows. This is crap, man !!, Chetan only knows what actually will he do. Please comment if you disagree.

He says that he has been played with, so were you boozed from the last 2 years and gave nice comments about Hirani.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani should be ashamed of themselves because if they have adapted novel, they should give appropriate credit to it. Whatever the truth may be, I believe this controversy will die in few days and both Chetan Bhagat and 3 Idiots are currently enjoying the huge publicity generated from it. 

Also about 3 Idiots,produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, ‘3 Idiots’ has created a box-office history by collecting Rs 175 crore just days after its release on the Christmas day, making it one of the biggest opening for a Hindi film this decade.

With 3 Idiots we get to the end of this year, the year which saw many films not living up to their expectations Love Aaj Kal, Dilli 6 amd many more. 3 Idiots carry more than any of these films simply because of Aamir Khan and Raju Hirani.

The film is loosely based on Five Point Someone. It has been declared by most of popular critics especially by Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama that it is about 3 students, it is not. The film is about Rancho (Aamir) and the other two are controlled by him during the entire film. Kareena is there only to give the love story  factor of an Hindi movie. Madhavan and Sharman are good, the latter a little better. Boman Irani is impressing too. But the big surprise is Chatur (Omi), the best in movie after Aamir.

The story covers life of these characters from the pressure of getting good grades, issues regarding education system and the best part is the friendship of Raju, Farhan and Rancho.

Why you should watch it ? 

• Dialogue delivery is good especially dialogues for Aamir are fantastic, the film had high entertainment quotient.
• The chant ‘Aal Iss Well’ catches you, even if it is done too much.
• The stood out performance from Aamir and Omi Vaidya. Then from Sharman and Madhvan.
• Humor is good, targeted at youth.
• Aamir proves his metal in acting and doesn’t looks for a 20 year old character.
• The film has got various emotional scenes which make you cry.

The Spoilers 

• Well i believe there’s too much alteration done with the story as Aamir was earlier supposed to do Sharvan’s role. It should have been left Raju Hirani.
• Taran Adarsh says that there are equal sterling performance but this is not, Go watch it is mostly Rancho’s movie.
• He can do anything like empowering Farhan for photography, nursing Raju back to health, causing an unknown girl’s breakup and delivering a child on a ping-pong table.
• The song are wasted live Give me some sunshine and Behti Hawa they should have been played complete. Aal Iss Well is good but Zoobi Doobi has got no connection. Jane Nahi is surprise element and is played throughout the movie.
• Mona’s Delivery scene is completely senseless, Aamir does with a vacuum cleaner. God save us from reviews which say this scene gives pace to the movie (referring to Bollywood Hungama’s review.)      

The film is a good entertainer with some brilliant scenes both emotional and humorous. Go watch it !!!
